Proven experience as a Business Analyst within an investment banking environment is mandatory, along with exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills. The role involves interfacing with business users to analyze and define business and functional requirements, as well as defining testing objectives and collaborating with testing teams.

Domain expertise should cover areas such as trade lifecycles, SDLC, trade processing, regulatory reporting, collateral management, or derivatives operations. Process change experience, particularly with agile methodologies and tools, is a must. Critical thinking skills are essential for anticipating issues and planning stakeholder elicitation sessions.
